Delete account — Light Of Hope
This page explains how users of the "Light Of Hope" (Світло Надії) app can delete their account and what data is deleted as a result.
How to delete your account
- Open the "Light Of Hope" app and sign in to your account.
- Go to the "Profile" section.
- Tap "Delete account" in the profile settings.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
The account is deleted immediately after confirmation — no separate request to support is required.
What data is deleted
- First name, last name, birth date, gender, city, region, social statuses, and phone number are removed from your profile.
- Any one-time verification code (OTP) linked to your phone number is deleted.
- The account itself is deactivated and can no longer be used to sign in.
What is retained
- Anonymized statistics about service requests and screening results may be retained without any link to your name or contact details — they are no longer associated with your account.
- If you separately opted in to keep your screening history for your own future reference, that history stays in the system but is detached from any personally identifying information.
- A technical log recording that the account was deleted (containing no personal data) is kept for audit purposes.
Deletion happens immediately after you confirm it in the app.
